Research on this project was fascinating. As no record of the chain of orders in the Turrets existed, the IWM put me in touch with some ex-servicemen who told me amazing stories over tea in HMS Belfast's cafe and I pieced together a sequence from their memories.
I also spent many hours in the Imperial War Museum Archives searching for footage. Some of this hadn't been reviewed in years and you weren't quite sure what you were getting until you watched it.
